2024 was the best year ever for the tourist sector on the Costa del Sol. Here are the figures: 14,47 million visitors – an increase of 3,17% over 2023.

A typeface project (in progress), developed from GPS-tracke routes traced
through wanderings on overcrowded beaches of Costa del Sol during the peak
tourist season, where shore turn into bodies covering land and water.
As the shoreline bends under the pressures of overtourism and seasonal migration,
the letterforms emerge as both a portrait and an archive of a beach in flux
