The project explores the relationship between the idea and
reality of the holiday experiencein the context of Polish culture.Perhaps due to historical facts economic inequalities and de-pressing, cloudy weather, Pole tend to complain and see theworst sides of every situation.
The installation becomes atime-travel machine, combiningcommunist era objects such asmarine-coloured pvc flooringand existing ceramic tiles with aclothesline, I created a dreamyinterpretation of the of the ideaof a holiday, where we can alsobe free from the frequent com-
